Nearly three years ago, we started this blog: "a conversation about ministry life." As a mother and daughter, both pastor's wives, we were spending plenty of time discussing our joys and challenges, seeking wisdom from each other, and bearing each other's burdens. We thought maybe some other women might want to listen in. So we started talking in writing. To each other, yes, and then to our readers, too.
This week, though, we took ourselves to a cabin in Oxford, Mississippi--home of a few people like William Faulkner and John Grisham whose sentences run circles around our own--and we talked face-to-face and non-stop. Maybe a few of those conversations will become paragraphs on this blog.
Have a seat, y'all.
I'm so happy y'all started this blog!
